Amran offers many different types of low voltage potential transformers with different sizes, shapes, construction options, secondary termination options etc., depending on applications and end use of the products. Single phase metering class PTs can be manufactured with very high accuracy and with thermal rating up to 750 VA. Amran also offers models with three phase construction. Three phase PTs are designed for line to line or line to ground connections. 3 phase models can also be built with high accuracy and burden capacity for metering applications.

Low Voltage PTs come with various outer encapsulation options such as plastic cased, resin molded or tape insulated constructions. PTs can have terminals, leads, pins, fast-ons etc. for primary and secondary connections. PTs can be provided with or without fuses, depending on application and customer requirement. These products are designed to meet ANSI/IEEE C57.13 or IEC 60044 standards. Each PT is tested for all routine tests to show the compliance.
